What if I don´t have insurance?
Round Rock Orthotics and Prosthetics is affiliated with several organizations that provide funding for patients that may not have insurance or need assistance with out of pocket costs after their insurance is billed.
Our insurance department will assist you in any way possible to find funding for services that we will provide you. We have been very successful finding funding for many patients in the past using the resources available to us.
What insurance contracts do you accept?
Our office is contracted with most HMO and PPO policies. They include:

New contracts are added regularly, so please check when scheduling an appointment that we are contracted with your insurance provider. If we are not contracted with your plan, our insurance department will be happy to verify whether you have out of network benefits.
In most cases, we are able to assist patients with the financial assistance they may need through third party organizations or payment plans if necessary.
How long will it take for me to get my device?
Our office strives to fit every orthotic service within two weeks, however, because each insurance plan is different, there may be times when extra paperwork is needed to authorize the fitting of your orthotic, so this process may take longer. Each patient is different as well, and most of our products are custom fitted to the patient.
On your initial visit, it is helpful if you bring your prescription with you to expedite services. Prosthetic services are much more involved and these devices vary as well. Depending on healing time and funding for the patient, prosthetic services require three or more visits before the final device is delivered. We work very hard at keeping patient waiting periods to a minimum and if there is ever a problem working within this timeframe, we will contact the patient to inform them of the situation.
How much does the office visit cost?
Round Rock Orthotics and Prosthetics does not charge for the Evaluation Appointment. We only bill the insurance or a patient for the cost of the device we are providing. Follow up visits and adjustment appointments are free of charge for the first year after receiving your device.
Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
It is best if your physician provides a prescription for you in time for your initial visit at Round Rock Orthotics & Prosthetics; however, our Insurance Coordinator specializes in obtaining prescriptions and other necessary documents from your physician in order to treat you. As a courtesy to our patients, we will contact the physicians to obtain the prescription if one is not provided to you prior to your initial visit.

In order to assure our patients personalized and individual attention, it is best that we see each patient by appointment
Does my insurance pay for this service?
We accept most insurance plans, both HMO and PPO, Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation. Our Insurance Department is highly knowledgeable in the ever-changing health insurance industry.
Prior to the evaluation appointment we can verify your insurance and inform you on what your insurance will and will not cover.
Where are you located?
Round Rock Our Round Rock office is located on Round Rock West Drive. From McNeil and IH 35 travel west on McNeil approximately two blocks to Round Rock West Drive. Travel north on Round Rock West .5 miles our office is located in the Park West Corporate Center Building D Suite 100.
What makes RROP different from other facilities?
Round Rock Orthotics and Prosthetics is different from other O&P facilities in the area because we are a practitioner owned and operated practice. Because we are privately held, we are able to focus all of our effort and attention on our patients. Our practitioners are always seeking out advances in technology to provide our patients with the most modern techniques in patient care. We make round the clock hospital visits to the largest trauma center in central Texas. Numerous hospitals call our facility to treat trauma patients, even when there may be other facilities closer to the hospital.
We work very closely with rehabilitation facilities and physical therapists to establish both long term and short-term patient care plans. Our staff goes above and beyond the realms of customer service to deliver the utmost in patient care and treatment. Our patients are our number one concern.
